Steps

Extension Installation

Download the zip file
Extract and put it into /app/code/
Open CLI in the Magento directory and run the following commands:
- php bin/magento s:up
- php bin/magento s:d:c
- php bin/magento s:s:d -f
- php bin/magento i:rei
- php bin/magento c:f
- php bin/magento cron:install
- php bin/magento cron:run

Configuration Details
- Configuration Login to the Admin Magento: Stores > Configuration > VDC STORE > Sitemap.

Admin can enable or disable the Sitemap module.
Select Yes in the Show Search field to enable search pages in the sitemap.
Enable Categories Sitemap to show categories in the sitemap.
Input title to display for categories under the categories header title.
Choose categories that you do not want to show under excluded categories.
Enable Products Sitemap to show products in the sitemap.
Input title to display for products under the product title.

Choose the maximum limit for products to show on the sitemap.
Enable CMS pages sitemap.
Choose a title for CMS pages to display.
Select the pages that you do not want to show in the sitemap.
