User Guide

The Magento 2 Daily Deal extension attracts new consumers and increases the brand loyalty of the consumers. The module enables retailers to display tempting daily specials to clients, encouraging them to make a purchase as soon as feasible. The admin may enable or disable the deal status for any product and specify the duration of the promotion. Furthermore, the admin may choose whether the discount type for the offer price is fixed or percentage-based. Customers may examine offer details such as the deal price and the amount of time until the deal expires. Furthermore, the unique Deal collection page provided on the front end allows users to examine all of the store’s deals.

Steps:

Extension Installation

Download the zip file
Extract and put it into /app/code/
Open Cli in the Magento directory and follow the below commands:
- php bin/magento s:up
- php bin/magento s:d:c
- php bin/magento s:s:d -f
- php bin/magento i:rei
- php bin/magento c:f
- php bin/magento cron:install
- php bin/magento cron:run

Configuration:
Configuration Login to the Admin Magento: Choose Stores > Configuration > VDC STORE.

Daily Deals: Select Yes to enable or No to disable the module.
Select Color for Table: Choose a color, then it will be visible on the frontend product page.

Daily Deals Product Edit

Deal Status: Enable this option to apply a deal on this product; otherwise, select Disable.
Discount Type: Select how you want to calculate the deal price.
- Fixed: Specify a fixed deal price. Select this option and enter the deal price in the Deal Value. For example, if the original price is $200 and the deal value is $60, the deal price will become $60.
- Percentage: Specify the percentage discount on the original price. Enter the percentage amount in the Deal Value. For example, if the original price is $200 and the offer value is $60, the deal price will be $120.
Date From: Determine when the offer for this product will begin. Select the date and time, then click Done.
Date To: Determine when the offer for this product will expire. Select the end date and time, then click Done. If the percentage discount type is selected, the percent value entered here will be the deal price. If the fixed discount option is selected, the price entered here will be the offer price.

Users may also find information about the deal on the product page.
Users may see the standard pricing as well as the discounted price. The remaining time to take advantage of the offer is also visible. Deal value information such as percent off and amount saved is displayed.
